There are a ton of really great couponing websites and sources which I want to share (and after which you'll probably never come back here! lol) but what I find frustrating about them is that these people having been doing this a while and truly have it down. Which is great, but then I feel like I'm doing something wrong when I have trouble getting the same savings they do. So part of this is to hopefully get a new couponer's perspective on doing this; the difficulties and the successes.
A little about me, if you don't already know me. I recently moved to Swift Current, SK (which is not the best couponing location as there aren't as many stores to shop at) with my boyfriend, Rich. I finished University last year and have been looking for employment in my field ever since. We're not exactly broke, but why not try to save some money on the things we buy everyday. Everyone can always use extra money, whether it's to pay down that pesky credit card or those hounding student loans, or a mortgage. Or maybe you just would like to save up a little extra money for a big purchase or a vacation. Either way, paying attention to coupons and deals is a great way to put a little more cash in your pocket.
Lastly in the introduction: I spent days trying to come up with a cute/smart name for this blog. There were many many great ideas thrown out by many of my close friends. I wanted a name that did say something about the fact that there will be a great deal of ideas/tips on saving money, but I wanted something a little more vague as I'm sure some days there might be nothing new to report in the coupon world and I might throw in something random. Now I know Jeanette's Tips doesn't seem inventive....BUT my cat's name is Tips! Okay so maybe it's still not that inventive but hopefully somewhat cute if you know about my kitty.
